Job: Personal Assistant to an Executive Director

Our client in the real estate sector requires the services of a qualified Personal Assistant for one of its Execuive Director. Please find below the Job Description;
1. B.Sc in any management sciences I.e. Economics, accounting, business admin etc if not, candidate must have worked in an environment that has exposed her to financial terms and be able to hold intelligent discussions on financial and economic issues e.g. If candidate is an ex-banker any first degree would be acceptable as she would have been exposed to financial terms.

2. Candidate should be female (male could also be considered)

3. Candidate must be very bold and confident (not easily intimidated and can hold her ground even with very senior officers), though respectful and humble.

4. Candidate must be intelligent and brilliant I.e. ability to grasp issues quickly

5. Candidate must have at least 3-6 years experience

6. Candidate must be above average in use of Microsoft office applications I.e. Word, excel and PowerPoint

7. Candidate must be above average in writing skills I.e. should be able to take oral briefs and develop (write) good memos and letters from the brief (well arranged and without errors).

8. Candidate must be very organized and detailed.

9. Candidate must be assertive, outgoing and warm and open to combining sales with P.A work

10. Candidate must be trustworthy and be able to keep confidential information (not talkative or given to gossiping

11. Candidate must have a good and positive attitude, be interested in leaning and reading.

12. Candidate should be single and not more than 32 and be willing to close late and work on weekends when required.

Other job functions includes reading and responding to mails, writing memos and letters and developing presentation slides (outstanding slides), arranging desk and filling, closely following up on tasks from other staff members (ensuring tasks are achieved), sending reminders (to me and others on deliverables, important dates and even personal tasks), organizing my schedule and following up, scanning dailies, internet etc and picking important tips on real estate, economy etc to send to me and other top management staff members, environmental scanning on competitors and giving feedback, investigating, getting good understanding and making recommendation on requests sent to my office etc.
